Bear Hunting

Being a small family run camp we try to customize a successful bear hunt to fit your party. All you have to do is look at all the smiling faces in our picture portfolio to know that we are doing our job. Hunts run Saturday to Saturday, but by the time we set you up in a stand and get you familiarized with the area, it leaves you with a 6 day hunt. With more than 530 sq. k.m. exclusive to our camp, let us set up the baits to suit anyone’s needs. Stands are accessible by side road, bush road, ATV trails and off the water. Your ATV is welcome and will assist in getting you back to some of our deeper baits, but our road and water baits give good success rates as well. We bait well in advance of the hunt, starting in June and continue throughout the summer to establish a regular bait strike long before the hunting season.

Tree stand hunters need to bring your own tree stand if you want to get off the ground, aid with set up will be provided. With 75% of the hunt work completed by us, your 25% should be easy and very enjoyable especially when we assist in tracking, retrieving, skinning, meat preparation and storage with the success of the hunt. It should be noted we operate a small hunt, maximum of 6 men per week, so book early to reserve a spot. We do not allow sows with cubs to be shot at our camp. Not only is it unethical but it is illegal and damaging to our management plan. Freezer service is available on site and if timing is available we can arrange your bear to be cut and fast frozen and prepared for your trip home. We work very hard to give you a successful and memorable hunt.

Grouse Hunting

The thrill of grouse hunting, particularly the pursuit of Spruce grouse and Hungarian Partridge, has proven to be nothing short of extraordinary for our guests in previous years.

The enchanting allure of the hunt is complemented by the picturesque landscapes and well-trodden bush roads and trails, creating an unparalleled hunting experience.

As autumn sets in, the birds gracefully filter onto the sunlit paths from the dense bush, creating ideal conditions for avid hunters. The transition from the shelter of the woods to the open trails offers a unique opportunity to spot and track these elusive game birds.

The vibrant foliage adds to the already captivating atmosphere, creating a sensory feast for enthusiasts.

Whether you are a seasoned hunter or a newcomer to the world of game bird pursuit, the combination of the unique landscape, the abundance of game, and the absence of the need for a dog make this grouse hunting experience truly stand out.

Our guests consistently find themselves captivated by the magic of the hunt, making each excursion a memorable and cherished event in the tapestry of their outdoor adventures.
